Today on TV, in the newspapers and especially at the front door at most shops and commercial centers, we can see everywhere the "Soldes" word which means Sales.
In France, in principal, there are 2 Sales seasons: Soldes d'Hiver (Winter sales) and Soldes d'été (Summer Sales).

For me particulary and most of the french people consider that this occasion is very important after the Christmas and New Year as we can buy many stuffs especially the clothes, shoes, daily using products,...etc at the best prices from 25%-70% off and as it is a good occasion for them to use the given Christmas cheque gift.
Each occasion, this does not only allow us to buy news stuffs for the winter season but it also allows the shops to change and clear their stocks and so they can start to provision the new collections for keeping in trend.
